About NBAA
Founded in 1947 and based in Washington, DC, the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) is the leading organization for companies that rely on general aviation aircraft to help make their businesses more efficient, productive and successful. The Association represents more than 11,000 members and provides more than 100 products and services to the business aviation community, including the NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition, the world’s largest civil aviation trade show.
Challenge & Solution
Initially engaging with the NBAA team to redesign their flagship member publication, Business Aviation Insider, the Senior Director of Content expanded this endeavor to ongoing design work for the magazine.
In addition, I worked with the organization on the design, development, and launch of the publication app, with the goal of growing the readership on a digital platform.
The redesign of the website followed. Fueled by the strategic recommendations from our team and our development partner, I lead the creative on several concept directions that were presented and refined into the final design that was implemented.
Results
The new publication app provided access to thousands of new readers beyond the 27,000 magazine subscribers.
The redesign of the website has 100,000 per month and 7 million page views per year (2018).
